I defiantly agree. I love 1911’s but while competing in IDPA to improve my skills, I found that I was faster and more accurate with followup shots using a 9mm. I had thousands of 45 rounds through two guns that I carried and competed with. But now for the last three years I’ve practiced with, competed with and carried every day, my M&P 9mm compact.
